Scarborough's Birch Cliff neighbourhood is getting a modern townhome development, with construction now officially begun at Core Development Group's Birchcliff Urban Towns. The development at 1665 Kingston Road, just west of Birchmount, will bring multiple three-storey townhome blocks to the neighbourhood, with architecture by RAW Design.

A recent ground breaking held at the project site was attended by representatives of Core Development and the various other companies involved in the project. “We’re thrilled to celebrate the commencement of construction for Birchcliff Urban Towns, what we consider an important milestone that speaks to the success of this project in the vibrant Birch Cliff community” said Core Development Group’s President Bryan Nykoliation at the event. “Core is committed to this burgeoning neighbourhood as we are now gearing up to launch our next development in the area, Clonmore Urban Towns, featuring 118 modern townhomes, situated between the Danforth and The Beaches.”

Located a short distance away from the Birchcliff site, the Clonmore Urban Towns project just east of Victoria Park and Gerrard takes a similar approach as Birchcliff Urban Towns, featuring modern blocks of townhomes arranged around a central courtyard.
